We are happy to help our friends in the press get the information they need to produce compelling coverage of our beautiful Toledo Bend Lake Country! We invite photographers and travel writers to experience our destination. The Toledo Bend Lake Country team will provide press representative complimentary assistance, including area information and customized itineraries. Accommodation assistance may be provided on a limited basis.
Travel Writer/Photographer/Social Media Influencer Qualifications
- To receive complimentary assistance, ALL representatives must provide credentials upon initial inquiry, including recent work, publications, and association memberships.
- Requests should include nature of the assignment, subject interest, and length of stay.
- Requests for assistance must be made at least two weeks prior to arrival.
- Accommodations assistance may be provided for commissioned work only and based on availability.
- For non-commissioned work, reduced rates or complimentary stays will be left to the discretion of the individual property owners/managers.
- For Social Media Influencers, it is preferred that you have a minimum of 100K followers
- Costs incurred by family members and others are not covered.
- Deviations or cancellations from planned itineraries must be made 24 hours in advance of scheduled arrival (including lodging and special interest appointments with local personalities). If 24 hour notice is not given, the writer/media representative is responsible for payment.
- Stories relating to the visit must be submitted to Toledo Bend Lake Country within one month of publication.
