Green Acres Fishing Lodge has three different cabin rentals that will accommodate small, medium and larger groups. However, one option that has become very popular with our couples is the Green Acres Bed & Breakfast. This is a great option for a couple who enjoys fishing or boating but doesn’t want to rough it. The B&B is located in the Master Bedroom of the Main House/Lodge. You will enjoy a King Size Bed, a personal TV, a personal mini-fridge, and a private bathroom. You will also have access to all of the amenities of the main house which includes our game room (pool table and shuffleboard), the great room with an 80” flatscreen TV, seven leather recliners, and a game table. Plus, you will have great views of the lake from the covered back porch or the many private areas on the property to watch the sunset. Finally, what would a B&B be without a great breakfast? Green Acres offers a hot, fresh, delicious breakfast to start off your day on the Toledo Bend Reservoir. Sample menu might include: a three egg omelet, bacon, hash brown casserole, toast, and breakfast desert. Since the B&B is for one couple, we can be very flexible with mealtimes and the type of meal (offering our guests brunch or lunch instead of breakfast with advance notice).
All of our cabins have linen and towel service and have a completely furnished kitchen i.e. stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, silverware, plates, cups, pots/pans, etc. In addition, each cabin has a Dish TV package and an outside grilling area with a charcoal grill.
Green Acres is a 16-acre gated property so you will feel safe and secure while you are our guests. You can leave your rods and reels, fishing equipment, and navigation systems on your boat and not have to take them in every night. In addition, each cabin has outside electrical outlets to charge your boat batteries or you can rent our boat slip that also has electricity available. Green Acres Fishing Lodge has a lot of shoreline for your enjoyment. You will find more than enough space for you, your family, or a group of friends to relax and enjoy all that Toledo Bend has to offer. The Green Acres Fishing Lodge is all about fun, fishing, and relaxing. For our guests who bring boats, we have free deep-water boat launch where you can launch your boat. If you do not have a boat, there are several great fishing guides in the area for Bass or White Perch fishing. You can also enjoy good fishing from the bank, fish from our boat house, or you can use one of our canoes or kayaks free of charge. Finally, we have a floating sun deck and a swimming area that includes a trapeze swing for more adventurous guests.
