Meet Jasmine!
Jasmine Hammontree is from the Anacoco, La, and we're proud to share her accomplishments in the fishing world.
Jasmine has been on the water since she was a year old, so it's no surprise that she is now a passionate angler at just seven years old. She has had many notable angling achievements over the years. Still, over the past year, she has amassed what most anglers would consider an ultimate achievement: an IGFA "International Game Fish Association" world record. Not just one, though; Jasmine currently has three IGFA world records, with a fourth record pending. All four records are from the Toledo Bend area, with three being on the Sabine River and one on Toledo Bend Reservoir itself. Jasmine already has plans to break her records and add more world records to her impressive list.
As you can see, fishing on Toledo Bend is fun for all ages. We're glad to have young, passionate anglers like Jasmine in Toledo Bend Lake Country! Keep doing what you love Jasmine, you rock!
