Boat Lane Advisory

BOAT LANES:
Even though all marked boat lanes are now considered safe with the lake elevation above 168 msl, boaters will need to use caution when running all lanes.
In the past, after lengthy periods of low water we have found that logs, limbs, and other debris dry out and when the lake raises rapidly these things float and are moved around by winds.
SRA crews are currently working on boat lanes and will move any floating logs that they encounter.

February Fishermen Find Lunkers

Toledo Bend Lake Country- February fishing proved to be fantastic for anglers in search of lunker bass weighing over ten pounds. With the water on the rise, fishermen flocked back to the boat ramps on Toledo Bend Lake. The lake level has reached 166 msl; up more than 6 feet since November’s record low.

The month of February started and finished extremely well for four fishermen. Starting off on February 9, 2012, Brandon Baker hauled in a 10.84 pound bass with a length of 24 ¼’’ and a girth of 21 ½”.
