Be a Marshal for the B.A.S.S. Elite Tournament
It’s your turn to spend 2 to 3 days on the water with the Bassmaster Elite Series Pros and learn a lifetime of bass fishing tips and techniques.

The responsibilities of a Bassmaster Marshal are simple, but very important. You must be familiar with on the water tournament rules before you arrive to the tournament. There will be a meeting for all marshals at Cypress Bend Resort on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 and a reception following with all pros.
Once you arrive to the tournament site, you will learn how to operate the BASSTRakk scoring system - a simple to use cell phone-based scoring technology developed by ESPN, and how to make minor camera adjustments for the BassCast onboard cameras. Once you commit to being a Bassmaster Marshal, your attendance is mandatory for Days 1 & 2 of the competition. Participation in Day 3 is optional.
2012 Marshal Obligations
Marshals are required to have knowledge of BASSTrakk operation. BASSTrakk operation to be explained in tournament briefing by tournament officials. Pros and Marshals are to be honest and timely with catch and weight reports. Any pro who, in the judgment of tournament officials, advises Marshals to neglect or false report catches or weights may be penalized. Marshals are not allowed to carry GPS systems or use cell phones during competition unless directed by tournament officials. Marshals are allowed to carry still cameras.
Marshals must sign an entry form acknowledging understanding of B.A.S.S. rules and report to tournament officials all rules violations or suggestions of rules violations.
Marshals should bring a personal PFD to each event bearing no conflicting tournament trail logos.
Marshals should bring their own foul weather gear, sunscreen, food and drink. Elite Series pros by rule must have storage space available for Marshals to store gear, snacks and drinks
