Toledo Bend Lake Country offers some of
the best outdoor activity options in the
state. It is an area full of lush woodland and a large 186,000 reservoir filled
with an abundance of bass, crappie, bream, stripers, and catfish.
Toledo Bend Lake Country offers 11
different camp locations for RV and tent camping.
Oak Ridge is located on 117
acres of wooded land with 1.75 miles of shoreline. This site offers 27 RV pads,
17 with water, sewer, and 20, 30, 50 amp electrical hook-ups; 10 with water and
electricity but no sewer, however, the site provides a useful dump station for
self-contained campers. There is a designated primitive tent area for campers

Cow Bayou Wilderness Area is approximately 200 acres of mixed pine/hardwood
forest, with approximately 8 miles of ATV trails. Primitive camping is allowed
and a small boat dock is available. For

Converse Bay is situated on 111 acres with 0.75 miles of shoreline.
The park is located at the intersection of La Hwy 191 and La Hwy 174,
approximately 15 miles north of Zwolle on Toledo Bend Lake. This park offers
primitive camping, an open pavilion, and a 2 lane boat launch.
There is no charge for the use of Converse Bay facilities. Come enjoy some

Dreamcatcher
Camping is located on the north shoreline of
Toledo Bend nine miles north of Zwolle. This facility offers 21 RV pads
conveniently located close to the water. A launching ramp and bathhouse are
available for guests. Dreamcatcher's features a very rural setting and very

San Miguel is south of Zwolle and north of Pendleton Bridge and
has 108 acres of wooded land with 1.5 miles of shoreline. San Miguel has 40 RV
pads, 20 tent pads, 14 A-frame cabins, 1 remodeled A-frame cabin and 3
conventional cabins. All cabins are fully furnished including dishes, cookware,
silverware, linens, and a coffee pot. The RV pads have 50, 30, 20 Amp electric
hook-ups with water and sewer. The tent pads have a beautiful water front view

Bar-B
Campgrounds is located on the north side of Lanan
Bay on the central part of the lake. This accommodation offers a rewarding
outdoor experience for the RV enthusiast. Many of the RV pads are located
on the water while others have a nice shaded view. For more information contact

Cypress Bend Park includes 60 RV
campsites with water, sewer and 50, 30, 20 amp electrical hook-ups. You can
rent a spot by the month or on a nightly basis. If you are looking to “rough
it” there is also a primitive tent camping area located directly across from

Hodges Gardens State Park consists of a variety of plants and flowers, from a
formal rose garden to a collection of Japanese Red Maple trees. The garden
boasts over 700 acres of native and cultivated flora. Water from a 225-acre
lake, built in 1954, is pumped from the lake through the gardens to waterfalls,
pools, fountains and to the watering system before it is recycled back into the
lake. At this site, nature-oriented visitors will experience a wide range of
topography, from cultivated gardens featuring both native and imported foliage
to rock formations that were exposed during logging and mining operations in

Army
Rec Center is
located on the south end of the Toledo Bend Lake, and is available only to
active and retired Military personnel and government employees. There are 13 RV
pads, 12 mobile homes, 4 cabins, and tent camping available. The park offers a
nice convenience store with a well-maintained fleet of pontoon boats, bay
boats, bass boats, kayaks and canoes for rent. A nicely developed beach area
with a new bath house adds to the enjoyment of its guests. For more information

Pleasure Point Park is
located on the southern banks of Toledo Bend Reservoir, five miles north of
Toledo Bend Dam. Whether fishing, swimming, boating, or relaxing by the
campfire you’ll see spectacular sunsets and the beauty of the outdoors at
Pleasure Point Park.
Enjoy the white sandy beach, fishing pier and 2 lane boat launch during your
stay at one of the 124 RV sites which are available for daily and monthly rent.
These campsites all have water and 50, 30, 20 amp electric and 50 of the
monthly sites offer sewer hook-ups. Well maintained bathhouses, a RV dump
station, and a fish cleaning station are also provided for your camping
convenience. If getting back to the basics is in your plans, there is a
beautiful primitive tent camping area overlooking the lake. Also, for your
convenience Pleasure Point offers one 20 x 20 camping shelter with water and

South Toledo Bend State Park is located close to the Toledo Bend Dam on the far
southern shores of the lake, offers RV camping and cabins. The park features an
Interpretative Center, displaying informational booths about the fish and
wildlife native to the area. The park offers 55 RV campsites, 19 cabins, and 5
tent sites. The park offers scenic waterfront views from many vantage points.
Visitors to the park can enjoy recreational activities such as hiking, cycling,
birding, and camping. This area is a common nesting ground for the bald eagle
so the park
offers a guided hike on Saturday morning
beginning at 8 o’clock to the Bald Eagle’s nest. Guests meet the Interpretive
Ranger in front of cabin 19 for an hour of hiking that includes information on
the history of Toledo Bend Reservoir, tree identification, viewing the Bald
Eagle’s nest, and enjoying the beauty and sounds of nature. For more
