Hodges Gardens State Park has named trails and paths through the formal gardens.

Stoker Hills Hiking Trail, a 2 mile tree identification loop through rugged terrain, including canyons and a waterfall.

North Toledo Bend State Park- The Dogwood Trail Nature Walk is a 1 1/2 mile interpretive loop. A four mile hiking trail winds through the forest.

South Toledo Bend State Park has a 3,000 foot surfaced nature trail near the Visitor Center. The Eagle Nest hike is behind Cabin 19.
