Sabine Parish Tourist Commission - Fishing Toledo Bend

While bass fishing is by far the most popular on Toledo Bend, other species such as crappie, bream, white bass, striper bass and catfish are in abundance.

The current bass lake record for Toledo Bend is 15.33 pounds. Toledo Bend has 50 lunkers (over 10lbs) caught in a single year.

Toledo Bend Lake attracts numerous large fishing tournaments because of the abundant fishing and the well designed facilities available for these sporting events. Cypress Bend and San Miguel parks host over 35 major fishing tournaments each year.
