Happy New Year!! Even though there were several days this week where the temperatures fell below freezing around the lake, the topic of the new proposed water sales contract between SRA Louisiana and Toledo Bend Partners remains a very hot issue. While we and other grass-roots Toledo Bend citizens have been voicing concerns for some time, others are joining the choir. Several major newspapers in the state, including the American Press and Baton Rouge Advocate, have this week featured major editorials on the matter so the word is out and public officials are hearing our concerns.
