Many, LA- Kayak Bass Fishing brings the popular KBF OPEN Tournament format back to Toledo Bend for the third year. The event moves into November to put the top kayak bass anglers in the country on one of the top bass lakes while the big fish are aggressive and the fishing pressure is lighter.
Kayak Bass Fishing wraps up the 2017 tournament series with the END on the BEND, November 3-4. This two-day, three-bass-per-day tournament on Toledo Bend Lake, headquartered in Cypress Bend Park is open to both KBF Members and non-members. It is a qualifying event for the March 2018 KBF National Championship.
First place prize for this event is $10,000. Prize money payout amounts and the number of paying places at the KBF OPEN will be determined by the number of registrants.
Also on the same weekend will be the KBF 100 CHALLENGE Championship; one hundred of the nation’s top kayak bass fishermen and women from across the US, based on their 2017 KBF Angler of the Year points acquired through KBF Challenges will compete. One will be invited from each state and Canadian province, and then the balance will be invited based on national AOY ranking.
The Sabine Parish Tourist Commission contracted with the Kayak Bass Fishing Organization not only because it’s a great tournament; it will also be aired on the World Fishing Network six times. Visit our website, ToledoBendLakeCountry.com, to register for this tournament.
